Gwinllan

Welcome to Gwinllan, a small Texas vineyard and farm. The vineyard consist of 125 plants, 50 Chambourcin, 50 Blanc du Bois, and 25 dog leg for future graft stock. There is about 5 usable acres for a farm or garden in addition to the 5 acres set aside for the vineyard.
Gwinllan is a Welsh word meaning vineyard, it is pronounced "Gwin-flin", the Welsh "ll" has a sound similar to "fl". The vineyard was planted in 2004 but has been neglected, I am hoping to use this blog to show my new commitment to the vineyard and display my improvements to the Vineyard and Farm / Garden
